Offering healing and hope by providing help in challenging times.
Want to serve refugees on a more relational level? This can range from picking up families at the airport and helping them furnish their new homes, to being paired with a family to offer ongoing relational support.
TIME COMMITMENT: You decide.
This is the greatest need right now according to resettling agencies in our city. Do you or someone you know have access to affordable housing that you are able and willing to lease to a refugee family?
NOTE: Rent will be covered by the resettling agencies for up to 6 months. There have been very few if any, known accounts of refugee families being unable to cover their rent on their own past the 6-month mark according to the organizations we are working with.

MEDICAL CLINIC ASSISTANCE
Are you a medical professional and able to offer some of your time on a volunteer basis? Currently, the greatest need is for phlebotomists, RN’s, and medical assistants.
TIME COMMITMENT: Volunteer as your schedule permits.
Many refugee families need to go through the legal process with the USCIS (Citizenship and Immigration Services) in order to obtain work authorization and other legal documents. This requires an attorney to brief the family in preparation for their court appearance and be present during the court appearance. A bar-certified attorney of any kind will qualify to serve in this role.
