An Evening with Dr. Curt Thompson

October 14 @ 6:30 pm - 8:15 pm

The in-person event has reached capacity.

WATCH on October 14, 6:30 PM.

Can the gnawing gap between the life of intimacy and wholeness we so long to live and the distracted and disintegrated life we so often live, be narrowed?

How do we live more fully into the life of intimacy and wholeness offered to us by Jesus?

Drawing from his own experience as a follower of Jesus as well as a practicing psychiatrist, Dr. Curt Thompson offers transforming hope from the realms of biblical wisdom, psychological reflection and scientific research.

On Thursday evening, October 14, at the Leawood campus of Christ Community, Dr. Thompson will speak both to your mind and your heart.

In a very warm and engaging way, he will present a compelling picture of how a community of faith can reshape our imaginations, hold our desires and griefs together and invite us into the beauty of God’s comforting and transforming presence.

Wherever you are in your journey of faith, an evening with Dr. Thompson will be a great encouragement to your life now and for years to come. Don’t miss this life-giving opportunity to grow. He will also share insights from his brand new book, The Soul of Desire.

Dr. Thompson is a psychiatrist in private practice in Falls Church, Virginia. Curt and his wife, Phyllis, live outside of Washington DC and have two adult children. Dr. Thompson is also the founder of Being Known, which explores the connection between interpersonal neurobiology and Christian spirituality which lead to genuine change and transformation.
