We are excited to once again help equip the graduates of Cristo Rey High School with items they need for their transition to college this fall.

Cristo Rey is a local ministry partners that seeks to provide high quality, college-preparatory education for low-income families. This year we will collect funds for this project from March 26-April 23.

100% of Cristo Rey graduates are accepted into college. Many of these students will be the first of their family to attend college. Getting there is only the beginning of the journey for these students, and our Grad Pack Project is a way to help send these students off with one less thing to worry about.

Your financial donation takes care of providing supplies for backpacks, linen bags, hygiene kits, scholarships and other needed items.

Please make your donations by April 23.

Here is what your donations provide:

• $100 will purchase a backpack filled with school supplies.
• $100 will purchase a graphing calculator for an engineering student.
• $125 will purchase a linen bag filled with sheets, towels, and other bedding.
• $50 will purchase 5 student planners so the graduates can keep track of their class work.
• $50 will purchase 2 hygiene kits filled with toiletries for the college dorm life.
• Monetary donation toward scholarship money for a student.

These are suggested donation amounts, but any amount is appreciated and needed. We have graduates to outfit for the fall, and your help is needed!

Another Way to Support Cristo Rey:

Cristo Rey is giving students a great education and training them for life at the same time. Each student works 1 day each week through the school’s work/study program to help pay for their education. Christ Community employs Cristo Rey students through this program and your company could easily join this mission. Watch this short video which explains the Cristo Rey model of education.
