Please join us for a First Friday reception and artist talk for Nest: A Collection, a solo exhibition from Kansas City artist Jenna Bauer. Jenna is a painter, musician, educator, and social sculptor. She is the founder of two St. Louis nonprofit arts organizations: Artscope and Colorbridge Art.

The artist talk begins at 6:30 PM and will be followed by live music.

Nest offers an intimate glimpse of the evolution of an artist’s life and work, ranging from restrained and thoughtful to joyful and energetic, creating spaces of contemplation and connection.

The exhibit includes reflections of the artist’s daily life, and selections of Bauer’s work from 1999-present, highlighting several distinct styles that have emerged in her work over the years, such as meditative landscapes, abstract process paintings, color grid explorations, and conceptual works.
