The Leawood Campus of Christ Community is hosting an awareness event about human trafficking on Thursday, April 13th in our Student Center. Much of the focus for this night will be on what is happening in the Kansas City area.

We hope you will join us to hear from our ministry partner ReHope as they educate us on many topics including:

• how victims are brought into sex trafficking 
• why victims often choose to stay 
• how survivors get out 
• the challenges of restoring their lives
• signs of someone being trafficked 
• what actions we can take 

Refreshments and survivor-made goods from ReHope will be available for purchase from 6:00-6:30 PM. The program, including a 30 minute Q & A, will follow from 6:30-8:30 PM.
