GIVE

Olathe Families

No matter what stage you’re in: from little kids, to middle grades, to students, we have a place for you at Christ Community.

Children

Children’s Ministries programming is available at 9 & 10:30 AM for Infant–5th grade.

Beginning 10 minutes prior to the service, parents may drop off their children. You’ll find the Check-in area in the lower level lobby near the cafe.

Infant, Crawler, Toddler

Children in our nursery spaces are read to, played with, and beginning in the Toddler room, taught simple truths about Jesus.

2s–Kindergarten

For our Preschool and Kindergarten classes, repetition is essential. Each Bible Lesson and truth about God is taught and then reviewed, sharing the main idea for two weeks.

1st - 5th Grade

For 1st to 5th graders, we use an interactive curriculum that teaches children the Big God Story (Bible Lessons) to help them discover and experience who God is from Creation to Revelation and how they can grow to know, love, and serve God in their everyday lives.

Safety is our priority!

We want our Children’s Ministries spaces to be healthy places for children. Please do not bring your child to their classroom if they have any of the following:

Fever within last 24 hours; Runny nose that is not clear; Questionable rashes; Coughing; Diarrhea; Impetigo; Active chicken pox; Measles/mumps; Pinkeye

Any child on antibiotics should have been on the medicine for at least 24 hours before checking in to Children’s Ministries.

We gather. We grow. We give.

FALL RETREAT- MIDDLE SCHOOL

Every Fall (aka, “Autumn”), Christ Community Middle School students and friends head out for our annual Fall Retreat. It is the highlight of the fall semester (and the entire year) for our students, adult volunteers, and staff members alike. This retreat is a terrific opportunity for students to begin the school year well by heading out to camp for a long weekend (two nights) in order to build friendships, have fun, and grow closer to Christ through teaching, worship, and hanging out together.

EVENTS

SUMMER CAMP - Middle School

Every summer our Middle School group heads out to Youthfront Camp West (Edgerton, KS) for a week of Middle School Summer Camp! For an entire week (5 days) students will encounter Biblical teaching, formative experiences, energetic musical worship, crazy fun games, and lasting friendships.

CHALLENGE - High School

Challenge 2022 is open to all current 8-12th Graders. This will be a great opportunity for all of our students to build community with each other, worship the Lord with thousands of other high school students from across the nation, and learn more about the Scriptures through specific learning intensives throughout the week. It is our hope that students will take this opportunity to invite their friends, churched or unchurched, to join them for this impactful week in learning about and growing deeper in faith in Jesus Christ, building deep Christ-centered friendships, and having some amazing fun on a weekend away!

EVENTS

Being a youth in today’s culture presents unique challenges. We work together to learn more about God, and develop strong, healthy friendships.
