ABOUT CHALLENGE

Challenge is the national gathering for students entering 9th through completion of 12th grade (for Fall 2024). It has proven to be a catalytic environment challenging students to live on mission with God every day, everywhere, and forever. Not only will there be amazing worship and biblical teaching from a variety of speakers, but students will also have the opportunity to participate in outreach projects around the KC area, recreational activities, experience a different culture through the Reach Global Experience, and be part of a student prayer movement (Prayer Moves) that meets every evening. LOCATION

Challenge 2024 will be hosted at the Kansas City Convention Center & Municipal Auditorium, in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. The center is conveniently located near our hotels, and provides an incredible environment for students and leaders. Our group will be staying in a hotel near the Convention Center from Sunday – Thursday.

Parents will drop their students off at the hotel on the afternoon (we’ll give you a specific time closer to the date) of Monday, July 1 and then pick them up at the hotel around 10 PM on Friday, July 5.

WHO CAN GO?

Challenge Conference 2024 is open to all current 8-12th graders. This will be a great opportunity for all of our students to build community with each other, worship the Lord with thousands of other high school students from across the nation, and learn more about the Scriptures through specific learning intensives throughout the week. It is our hope that students will take this opportunity to invite their friends, churched or unchurched, to join them for this impactful week in learning about and growing deeper in faith in Jesus Christ, building deep Christ-centered friendships, and having some amazing fun on a weekend away!

WHAT IS INCLUDED?

The cost covers hotel lodging, meals, activities, and more! It does not include personal munchies, puppies, and/or souvenirs (a bookstore at the conference will have shirts, stickers, and other Challenge-branded items for sale).

* We don’t ever want money to be the reason that a student can’t attend so PLEASE contact us before registering so we can talk about how we can help

** The $100 deposit can only be refunded if it can be transferred to a student of the same gender AND depends on the circumstances (if one is needed, please contact the Student Ministries/Associate Pastor at your campus)
