Thursday Qavah-Student Ministries
Thursday Qavah-Student Ministries
Middle school, high school students, and leaders gather at the church to pause, rest, hold space for God, wait, pray for each other, and to practice faith in Jesus.---------------6:00-7:20 - Qavah7:20-8:00 - Walk to Betty Rae's---------------Qavah is a Hebrew word that means, "to wait, to linger, to look eagerly for, to look expectantly for, to remain."Famously Isaiah prophesies:"Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted;they who wait (qavah) for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles;they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."We want to wait on God, look expectantly for His action, and pray for each other in humility and gratitude.
