Facilities Worker Coordinator – Leawood

DESCRIPTION

The Facilities Worker Coordinator oversees other facilities workers and is the point person between campus contact and other workers. They also serve alongside other facilities workers to complete room setups, do light cleaning, light grounds maintenance, and minor maintenance projects. The facilities worker ensures the facilities are in good working order for gatherings that lead to the fulfillment of the mission of Christ Community Church.

REPORTS TO: Executive Pastor
STATUS: Part Time
CLASSIFICATION: Non exempt

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Dependable

  • Able to follow instruction well
  • Able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Able to work well individually and as a team player

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • COORDINATION
    Oversight of high school-aged facilities workers during following responsibilities.
  • ROOM SETUP
    Setup and take down of tables and chairs
    Setup and take down room configurations throughout the campus
  • CLEANING
    Clean and vacuum carpet
    Empty trash
    Restock restrooms between events as needed
  • MAINTENANCE
    Perform minor building repairs with instruction
    Assist in grounds maintenance (including but not limited to weeding, mulching, trash removal)
    Assist with snow removal as needed
  • GENERAL DUTIES
    Execute special assignments under the general supervision of the campus supervisor or Facilities Supervisor
